DAY 1 - Governmental Accounting, Ethics & Audit Prep

Day one of the conference will focus on all the things related to governmental preparers. We will kick off the day with an update on what is going on at the GASB with a focus on the standards effective this year as well as exposure drafts and projects. We will then switch to a Yellow Book ethics update with a focus on independence. Government budgets have been in the news so we will talk about best practices in sustainability and budgeting. We will close with best practices in ACFR prep and how to prepare for an audit.
